Nordic AI Meet

October 2, 2023 - October 3, 2023

Symposium for Young Researchers: Nordic AI Meet comes to Denmark!

The Nordic AI Meet is an annual conference where researchers in early careers can meet and learn about new ideas, methods, and theories within AI and build a professional network that will be useful in developing knowledge-based applications of AI. In 2023, the conference will take place on 2-3 October, and the Pioneer Centre for Artificial Intelligence will host and co-organize the event with the Norwegian Artificial Research Consortium (NORA).

The conference is seen as an interface between interdisciplinary scientific research in areas of computer science and statistics with application in fields of natural science, technology, life science, medicine, humanities, and social sciences. It represents an important step forward in helping and providing necessary knowledge exchange about AI and its applications in the Nordics and gives young AI researchers the opportunity to exchange ideas, build collaborations and form a Nordic approach to building AI solutions for the societal good. This is particularly important and useful for meeting important challenges in the public sector, industry, or civil society regarding the use of AI.

The call for talks and posters will come out in early March and the registration will open in April.

The Nordic AI Meet provides an arena where the topics about the consequences of AI application can be discussed and presented, and the topics that will be included in the conference are not only related to basic AI research but also to applied AI research in natural sciences, medicine, and social sciences.
