Funding of data science events and courses
The mission of the Danish Data Science Academy is to support a national collaborative network of data science experts across universities, public institutions, and industries; and to inspire and train the next generation of data scientists through educational, interdisciplinary, and collaborative activities.
To achieve this, we invite applications for funding of events and courses that will contribute to growing a strong data science community in Denmark.
What can be supported?
The DDSA welcomes applications for:
- Events and networking activities including, but not limited to, workshops, training/mentoring events, networking initiatives, competitions, and hackathons
- Courses including, but not limited to, PhD and postdoc courses, as well as vocational courses for public-, hospital-, and private sector employees
The DDSA differentiates between small and large events and courses depending on their budget:

Upcoming deadlines for large events/courses applications are March 20, 2022 (decisions will be notified mid-May), and in September 2022. Applications for small events and courses can be submitted throughout the year and will be processed within a month.
