Under the title ‘Quality development that works’ we want to engage clinicians, it-specialists, health care leaders, researchers, data scientists and patients in a discussion on data supported quality improvement. We all know that clinical quality databases should contribute to the visibility and improvement of clinical quality, so that patients receive high quality care throughout the country. But how do we convert the generated knowledge into improvement? What are the actions behind the successes in leveling out unwanted variation and delivering high quality treatment? And which measures can support a learning healthcare system, where clinicians across the country inspire each other to develop practice? The ambition of this years’ conference is, that all participants can take home something to use in their own improvement activities – but also to inspire all stakeholders to make even more use of data in order to give future patients the best possible care.
