Danish Data Science Academy has opened 4 separate calls for PhD and Postdoc applications! We are eager to welcome visionary and creative-thinking young data scientists and early career researchers who want to pursue their own research ideas in collaboration with a Danish research environment.
Call for 10 DDSA PhD Fellowships of DKK 1,8 million
We welcome applications from national and international candidates eligible for a Danish PhD programme (the 3+5, 4+4 and 5+3 PhD models).
Applications can be within any field of data science aligning with the DDSA Research Scope.
Applicants must have a well-defined project proposal as well as an agreement with a principal supervisor at a Danish university.
Call deadline is February 28, 2024.

Call for 6 DDSA Postdoc Fellowships of DKK 1,2 million
We welcome applications from national and international candidates.
Applications must be aligned with the research scope of the DDSA Postdoc funder, Novo Nordisk Foundation.
Applicants must have a host agreement with a Danish research institution.

Danish Data Science Academy (DDSA) and Danish Cardiovascular Academy (DCA) welcomes applications from national and international young researchers who want to bridge the Danish data science environment with the Danish cardiovascular research environment.
Applications can be within any field of data science and cardiovascular research aligned with the research scope of the DCA and DDSA funder, Novo Nordisk Foundation.
Applicants must have an agreement with a principal supervisor within data science employed at a Danish university, as well as a co-supervisor within cardiovascular research affiliated with a Danish research institution.

Danish Data Science Academy (DDSA) and Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy (DDEA) welcomes applications from national and international young researchers who want to bridge the Danish data science environment with the Danish diabetes, and classical endocrine research environment.
Applications can be within any field of data science and diabetes and endocrinology research aligned with the research scope of the DDEA and DDSA funder, Novo Nordisk Foundation.
Applicants must have an agreement with a principal supervisor within data science employed at a Danish university, as well as a co-supervisor within diabetes and endocrinology research affiliated with a Danish research institution.

If you are considering an application for a DDSA PhD or Postdoc Fellowship, you also have the possibility of applying for a DDSA Visit Grant.
Danish Data Science Academy supports Danish and international bachelor’s or master’s students, PhD students, and Postdoc researchers who want to spend time with new research groups of interest in Denmark. The purpose is to give students and young researchers the opportunity to form the basis for a future DDSA PhD or Postdoc Fellowship application in collaboration with a potential supervisor from a Danish university or a Danish research institution.
The grant contributes up to DKK 15,000 to cover costs for travel, accommodation, and related expenses.
Applications can be submitted all year round.
