Are you curious to hear what a Data Science career in Denmark looks like? Join DDSA’s Young Academy Panel for the monthly Ask Me Anything webinar series! At each webinar, an invited speaker will engage in an honest conversation about their career and answer all your related questions. In this edition, our guest is Laura Alessandretti from DTU: “I am Assistant Professor in Modelling of Human Dynamics at the Technical University of Denmark. I work in the area of Computational Social Science and I research aspects of human behavior combining the analysis of large-scale passively collected datasets with mathematical and computational models. My research has largely focused on the understanding of human mobility, smartphone application usage and online behaviour in digital markets. Previously, I was a PostDoctoral researcher at the Copenhagen Centre for Social Data Science and at DTU Compute. Before that, I got my PhD in Mathematics at City, University of London, and my Master’s in Physics of Complex Systems at École normale supérieure de Lyon.”
