I hold an MSc from Italy and PhD from Denmark, both in Statistics, and have applied my expertise across diverse fields, from financial instruments and sensory data to real-world evidence in the more recent years. My career spans academia, NGOs, consulting, and both public and private sectors. I’ve lived and worked in multiple countries, including Italy, Germany and Denmark, gaining cultural and professional awareness. Now based in Copenhagen with my husband, two kids, and a cat, I balance full-time work and family life while navigating the challenges and opportunities of being an international professional.
Motivation
I’m excited to join the mentoring programme to help inspire and support more women in data science. I believe representation matters, and I want to share my experiences navigating an international career and balancing work and family in a technical field. Mentoring is also a two-way exchange: I look forward to learning from younger professionals, gaining fresh perspectives on work, life, and the evolving landscape of data science. I see this as a chance to grow personally while contributing to a more inclusive and dynamic community.
