Background

Juan Manuel Rodriguez is an Assistant Professor at Aalborg University. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires in 2012. His research focuses on applied machine learning, deep learning, including multi-modal data. Notable publications include studies on applied image, and text analysis, and recommender systems. He is also an NVIDIA DLI Certified Instructor and University Ambassador.

Motivation

​As a mentor, I aim to enhance collaboration between academia and the private sector by guiding mentees in applying data science and machine learning techniques to real-world challenges. This engagement is intended to foster complex partnerships and drive applied research initiatives that benefit both industry and academia.
