My motivation for joining the mentoring programme stems from a strong commitment to supporting the next generation of scientists, particularly those entering interdisciplinary fields like data science, computational biology, and applied mathematics. I understand the challenges of navigating research careers across disciplines and cultures, and I want to share my experience to help others succeed. Mentoring also allows me to reflect on my own journey, continue learning through dialogue, and expand my professional network. I especially value empowering women and underrepresented groups in science and encouraging bold, curiosity-driven research.
