Event 2 – Building the Product or Software
In the second event, we’ll explore the implementation of deep learning models in automated visual inspection systems in Aseptic Manufacturing in Novo Nordisk. We’ll begin by introducing the practical use case that drove the solution development, followed by an explanation of the design choices – including the team’s reasoning behind the selected tech stack, training environment, and pipeline architecture. We will also focus on the approach to training data utilization, combining real-world with synthetically generated samples. The team will address model explainability and monitoring systems that ensure production reliability while creating transparency for authorities and stakeholders.
Michał Stępień manages the deep learning data infrastructure to facilitate model training and support production environment. With a background in computer science, he provides intelligent solutions for manufacturing in Novo Nordisk.
