Aalborg University, Department of Computer Science, Region Nordjylland
Background
I’m an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Aalborg University. My research focuses on machine learning, more specifically, graph representation learning and genomic sequence modeling. Before joining AAU, I earned my Ph.D. from Paris-Saclay University and worked at Technical University of Denmark as a postdoc. Currently, I co-direct the AI:EcoNet Lab, and enjoy doing research. I’d be happy to share my experiences to help others navigate their own journeys in the field.
Motivation
I have participated in the DDSA Mentoring Programme for the past two years, and I really enjoyed the chance to connect with early-career data scientists. I’d like to be a friendly guide for someone else. Whether it’s discussing research directions or just talking through career options, I’d be happy to share my perspective and help as much as I can.
