LAB (2026) is a pilot project developed by BEST Copenhagen at DTU (Lyngby Campus), where participants team up to produce an MVP solution to a real world problem. The topic is Digital Twins used to optimize conditions for Indoor Environments. The event spans 4 days (+2 days for arrival and departure); 3 development / learning stages and 1 presentation and evaluation day. All teams will present their solutions, and the best implementation will be rewarded.

As a multi-day event, we offer accommodation at campus and serve meals and snacks to keep you energized, healthy and able to show off your skills! Take advantage of this opportunity to expand your knowledge and use it in practice while networking with likeminded people. We offer a safe environment and professional teaching. You will be responsible for directing the teamwork together and offered mentoring during development.

Related experience or education fields are recommended, but the event has no pre-requisites, and we welcome people of diverse backgrounds. We only require that you respect other participants and organizers, our university facilities, and that you speak to us if you have constructive feedback or issues that we may be able to work out during the event. A personal computer / laptop (or similar device) is required to get the most out of the event.
