The PhD School on Intersections of Algorithms and Machine Learning Theory will take place at the University of Southern Denmark, Campus Odense, from July 1 to 4, 2025. The speakers will be Paul Dütting, Roi Livni, Nicole Megow, and Sahil Singla. They will cover the topics Prophet Inequalities, Foundations of Machine Learning, Algorithms with Predictions, and Data-Driven Stochastic Optimization, respectively.
This school is mostly aimed at PhD students, but we also accept applications from Master’s students and young postdocs.
Related events are STOC (June 23 to 27 in Prague, Czech Republic), an ICALP sattelite workshop on Theory and Applications of Algorithms with Predictions (July 7 in Aarhus, Denmark), and ICALP (July 8 to 11 in Aarhus, Denmark).
