Tianyi (Tenney) Hu is a PhD student in Computer Science at Aarhus University’s CLAN Lab and the Danish Pioneer Centre for AI. He holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Copenhagen, was a visiting student at National Taiwan University, and previously worked as a Researcher at Baidu Search. His expertise lies in human-centered and trustworthy NLP, including information retrieval, RAG, memory, reasoning, agents, and inclusive NLP for underrepresented communities.

As a mentor, I am motivated to join the Mentoring Programme to support early-career researchers in developing confidence, clarifying their academic goals, and navigating research and career challenges. I hope to share my experience in NLP, AI, and academia while fostering an open, supportive mentoring relationship.
