
DDSA’s 2025 Large Course and Event Grants are now open for applications.
Large Course & Event Grants are designed to support support community-driven courses and events that will contribute to growing a strong data science community in Denmark.
DDSA is committed to fostering the development of a nationwide network of data science professionals spanning universities, public institutions, and industries. Our goal is to promote educational, interdisciplinary, and collaborative initiatives that will inspire and equip the next generation of data scientists.
Applicants can request funding of up to DKK 100,000 for their initiatives. This funding aims to facilitate the planning and execution of events that foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation within the Danish data science community.
New for 2025: DDSA will be adding a 5% overhead to all Course & Event grants. This overhead is intended to cover administrative costs associated with organizing these events.
Types of Activities Supported
- Events and Networking Activities: Including, but not limited to, workshops, training/mentoring events, networking initiatives, competitions, and hackathons.
- Courses: Including, but not limited to, university courses at the PhD and postdoc levels, as well as vocational courses for public, hospital, and private sector employees.
Application Process
- Interested applicants are encouraged to review the 2025 Application Guidelines, which provide detailed information on the application process, eligibility criteria, and other important updates.
- Applications must be submitted by February 15, 2025, at 23:59. Late submissions will not be considered.
DDSA aims to empower individuals and organizations to create impactful events that contribute to the professional development of data scientists and the broader data science community.
