KEEP IT REAL! Facing the AI Hype Together
Do you use AI for your own work, but also find yourself sceptical of unhinged AI euphoria? Are you informed about AI’s capacities, but also concerned about AI’s impact on ethics, education, and the environment? Are you craving conversations with likeminded people? And do you want your critical voice about AI to get heard? If so, you’re not alone.
Therefore, we invite you to join us for KEEP IT REAL – an interactive half-day workshop where we face the AI hype together. During this event, you’ll meet industry practitioners, researchers, and educators who want to stay both informed and critical. Together, we’ll discuss pressing issues, share insights, and explore potential collaborations – in any shape or form.
In addition, we’ll use the momentum from the workshop to co-write and widely distribute an opinion piece based on the input gathered. All participants will be warmly invited (but not expected) to join the co-writing group. To ensure meaningful discussions and spontaneous networking, the number of participants is limited to 40. As a result, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
