DDSA Pre-Graduate Retreat – August 2023

Are you a bachelor’s- or master’s student in a data science – or related – study programme? Would you like to learn more about doing a PhD in data science? Are you in doubt about what career paths this could open up to you? And do you wonder why data science methods and applications even matter in the world around you? Yes? Then keep reading!

You would probably enjoy spending 24 hours in a beautiful folk high school – the first in the world – with 50+ equally curious students from across Denmark and abroad. And you would be excited to meet a line-up of cutting-edge PhD students, researchers, professionals, and start-up leaders sharing their experiences and answering your questions.

Now: Check your calendar for August 16-17. Free? So is participation! You only need to pay your own travel expenses.

Apply to join us before Tuesday, August 1 @ 12 PM by submitting a bit of background info and a brief motivation. We will let you know if there is a seat for you in the last week of June.

Dates: August 16 @ 12:00 to August 17 @ 14:00, 2023

Venue: Rødding Højskole, Flors Allé 1, 6630 Rødding, Denmark

Transport: We will organise transport between Vejen Station and Rødding Højskole

Costs: Participation is free, including meals and accommodation. Transport to Rødding/Vejen Station is at your own cost
